In 2001 a transaction was successfully completed by YPH Ltd of Preston and Kistler Maschinen und Anlagenbau GmbH of Germany, where both companies purchased assets including goodwill, designs, know how and trade names of F. Bode & Son Ltd, Leek.
F. Bode & Sons Ltd, is one of the largest manufacturers of Positioning Equipment in Europe. The companies standard range offers welding positioners, rotators, turntables, seamwelders, head & tailstock, column and booms, cradle types, lathe types, and specialised turnkey solutions.

Worldwide sales, service, parts and hire operations for all Bode machinery, including the patented Self Aligning Rotators, and specialised Seam Welders will be held from the YPH Ltd headquarters in Preston, Lancashire. All manufacturing has been incorporated into Kistler's purpose made factory in Germany.
