The Bode Horizontal Turntable Positioners (TT) are used for precise positioning in the flat or horizontal position. The machines, available from 200Kg to 200 tonnes offer a high-precision method of rotating a workpiece around a vertical axis. Many machines have been manufactured over 50 years, in particular minimal backlash types ideal for the cladding industry.
Baseframes are of rigid all steel fabrication. A faceplate is supported on a large diameter pre-loaded crossroll bearing with integral precision gearing for smooth rotation. The table is machined from steel plate and radial 'T' slots for rapid centering and clamping of workpiece.
